What is intimate waxing?
Intimate waxing covers all waxing treatments of an intimate nature, as the name suggests. Originally this tended to mean a basic bikini wax, removing all hair that would be visible if wearing a simple pair of bikini bottoms. These days the completely bare look is very fashionable and by far the most common intimate wax we perform is the Hollywood wax where we remove everything!
Bikini, thong, Brazilian and Hollywood waxing explained
Basic bikini wax
For a basic bikini wax we remove all hair that would be visible if you were wearing a simple pair of bikini bottoms. You can keep your pants on for this treatment, but you run the risk of getting some wax on them so you’re welcome to remove them if you like. If you keep your pants on we’ll move them as needed to ensure you’d have no hairs poking out of your bikini bottoms.

Thong wax / Extended bikini wax
After the bikini wax there’s the thong wax, or extended bikini wax. As a thong is narrower than a bikini we’ll remove more hair at the sides than for a basic bikini wax and remove 2-3cm of hair from the top of the pubic area to accommodate a lower waistline. We also remove hair from the thigh crease, but don’t go in as far as the labia. If you want more removing you’ll need a Brazilian wax or a Hollywood wax.

Brazilian wax
Going one step further than a thong wax, the Brazilian wax removes all but a strip of hair from the front. All hair underneath, around the labia, and between the buttocks is removed. We leave a small strip (often referred to as a ‘landing strip’) of hair at the front. If you’ve got a preference for how much of a strip is left then let us know. This is our second most popular intimate wax.

Hollywood wax
Our most popular waxing treatment by far, a Hollywood wax removes all hair from your pubic area. The front, underneath, in and around the labia and between the buttocks will be waxed, leaving you feeling smooth and clean.
